Installation: How Simple Is It?
All three locks mount without drilling, over the existing Euro cylinder. No replacing the lock, no locksmith, no renovation. Your existing mechanical key still works with all three (the cylinder must have an emergency function).
Yale Linus L2: about 15 minutes to install. The cylinder adapter is included. Compact design, 20% smaller than the previous generation.
Tedee Smart Lock: about 15 minutes to install. The key may need to be shortened (a locksmith service). The Tedee Euro Adapter is needed for Euro cylinders and is sold separately. It can also be mounted on a Gerda cylinder, which is sold separately.
Aqara U200: about 20 minutes to install. The adapter kit is included. The outdoor keypad with NFC is part of the KIT version.
Installation winner: Yale Linus L2 and Aqara U200 KIT. Everything is included in the box. Tedee may need an extra adapter and a shortened key.

Unlocking winner: Aqara U200. It offers the most options without extra accessories. Fingerprint, NFC, PIN, Apple Home Key and the app are all built in and come with the lock.

Important difference: the Yale Linus L2 has built-in Wi-Fi, so you get remote control with no extra equipment. Tedee and Aqara need a separate bridge or hub for remote control outside the home.

Compatibility with Your Smart Home
All three locks are compatible with Apple Home, Google Home and Amazon Alexa through Matter.
Yale Linus L2: Matter over Wi-Fi, with Alexa built in (with the Yale Dot). Excellent for Google Home and Home Assistant users.
Tedee Smart Lock: Matter over Thread, with excellent HomeKit integration. Also compatible with Apple Watch and Android Watch.

Battery winner: Tedee Smart Lock. 9 months is a record. Yale and Aqara also offer a rechargeable option, which is more practical in the long run.
Security and Durability
Yale Linus L2: AES 128-bit encryption, DoorSense technology (you know whether the door is open or closed), and an anti-pick, anti-drill, anti-bump cylinder. Yale is a brand with 180+ years of security tradition.
Tedee Smart Lock: AES 256-bit encryption (the highest level!), European security certificates, and an anti-tamper alarm.
Aqara U200: AES 128-bit encryption plus biometric protection, IPX5 protection (the only one of the three resistant to rain!), an anti-peep PIN (add fake digits), and an operating temperature range of -15°C to 66°C.
Security winner: Tedee Smart Lock (AES 256-bit). However, Aqara U200 is the only one with IPX5 water resistance, which is essential for outdoor doors.
