Aqara at IFA 2026 in Berlin — New Smart Lighting Series and Aqara Builder Platform
The world's leading consumer electronics show IFA 2026 in Berlin is underway, and Aqara was among the stars of the event. At Booth #157 in Hall 1.2, Aqara presented its latest innovations — a complete new smart lighting series and a new global platform for smart home creators.
This is big news for all Aqara fans in Macedonia — and as the official distributor, we will be following the product launches closely and will offer them as soon as they become available.
The New Smart Lighting Series — Thread, Zigbee and Matter
Aqara has long been known for its sensors, cameras and hubs. But in 2026, the company is making a major move into the world of smart lighting. All new products support dual protocol (Thread and Zigbee), are Matter-compatible, and work with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant and Homey.
Here are the five new products presented at IFA 2026:
1. Aqara Floor Lamp T1 — Smart Floor Lamp
The Floor Lamp T1 is an elegant smart floor lamp standing 1,420mm tall with a unique side-emitting optical design that washes walls in soft, even light — rather than directing harsh light straight down.
Connected to Aqara presence sensors, the Floor Lamp T1 automatically adjusts brightness and colour temperature based on who is in the room and what they're doing — without any manual input.
2. Aqara LED Downlight T2 — Smart Recessed Ceiling Light
The LED Downlight T2 is a smart recessed LED ceiling light — designed for modern homes and commercial spaces. With Thread and Zigbee support, it integrates seamlessly into existing Aqara systems and responds to automations, presence detection and schedules.
3. Aqara LED Strip T2 — Smart LED Strip
The LED Strip T2 is the next generation of Aqara LED strip — with dual protocol and Matter support. Ideal for ambient lighting behind the TV, under cabinets, in kitchens, or anywhere you want subtle, atmospheric light.
4. Aqara Outdoor String Lights H1 — Smart Outdoor String Lights
The Outdoor String Lights H1 are smart outdoor string lights — available in 15-bulb or 30-bulb variants. They offer multi-zone RGBIC effects with precise colour control across a range of 2,000K to 9,000K — from warm orange to cool white.
What makes them special is the AI-powered Gen-Scene feature — say or type a prompt and Aqara automatically creates a custom lighting scene for your terrace, garden or party. They also respond to security events — for example, when motion is detected, they automatically change colour and intensity.
5. Aqara Permanent Outdoor Lights H1 — Permanent Outdoor Lights
The Permanent Outdoor Lights H1 are designed for permanent installation directly onto roof edges — eliminating the seasonal hassle of putting up and taking down lights. They can be cut to size, extended and fully customised. With a single tap you activate pre-set themes for any occasion — New Year, Easter, a birthday, or simply everyday ambient decoration.
Aqara Builder — New Platform for Creators
Alongside the new products, Aqara also presented Aqara Builder — a global platform for sharing smart home ideas, projects and automations.
